Our alternative practititioners provide super learning opportunities for the gifted and talented with our wellbeing ambassador initiatives.
Our wellbeing ambassador initiatives nurture emotional intelligence and self-actualisation, whilst providing clear purpose.
They provides schools and communities with peer mentors who are better prepared to work alongside those who are challenged. Thus helping to entrain scheduled cycles of positivity and more social patterns of behaviour.
A wide range of Wellbeing Ambassador Initiatives:
Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshops
In addition to improving mental health and wellbeing, these workshops raise awareness of how to gain support for mental health, and develop strategies for wellbeing, including posters, displays, assemblies and champions.
Duration flexible; however, one double lesson (a 2-3-hour period in the morning or afternoon) for a 5-12 week period is suggested. These workshops may be linked to other initiatives for a full academic year.
Peer Mentoring
Developing communication and relationships skills to use emotional intelligence and self-actualisation, for a clear purpose. It provides schools and communities with peer mentors who are better prepared to work alongside those who are challenged.
Thus, helping to entrain scheduled cycles of positivity and more social patterns of behaviour.
Duration flexible; however, one double lesson (a 2–3-hour period in the morning or afternoon) for a minimum 12-week period is suggested. These workshops may be linked to other initiatives for a full academic year.
Health & Fitness Champions
Set up workshops and a Champions strategy for physical, emotional, and mental health in your school or community.
Champion holistic health and wellbeing strategies in the school or setting. They help increase access to early help and prevent the onset of health problems.
Duration flexible; however, one double lesson (a 2–3-hour period in the morning or afternoon) for a minimum 5-week period is suggested. This initiative may be linked to other initiatives for a full academic year.
Year 6/7 Transition Workshops
Dealing with a bigger and more threatening environment is stressful and may be traumatic for some.
We have a dual approach that not only nurtures resilience and coping strategies for the new year 7’s, but also provides peer mentors from older year groups.
Duration flexible; however, one double lesson (a 2–3-hour period in the morning or afternoon) for a minimum 5-week period is suggested. This initiative may be linked to other initiatives, especially our Peer Mentoring, for a full academic year.
16–25-year old’s – Life skills prep
To know thyself and have resilience to cope and THRIVE as an adult is awkward for most people, for those challenges with neurodiversity, trauma, fear, loss, or chronic stress it is a potential nightmare.
Our alternative practitioners are perfect for supporting young people on an individual level – don’t leave this responsibility to just anyone!
Duration flexible; however, one double lesson (a 2–3-hour period in the morning or afternoon) for a minimum 12-week period is suggested. This initiative should be linked to other initiatives so individuals may fully benefit.
